Papua Nuova Guinea è stato uno dei primi luoghi di coltivazione intensiva del caffè. Oggi la produzione è limitatissima e destinata a un mercato di nicchia. L’Arabica cresce all’ombra di alberi ad alto fusto ed è raccolto esclusivamente a mano con una selezione accurata delle ciliegie mature. Il caffè proveniente dal Papua Nuova Guinea è caratterizzato da un aroma intenso di cioccolato fondente, note di frutta tropicale matura e agrumi, con un gusto che esalta la piacevole acidità assieme a una moderata dolcezza, un mediamente corposo, con un retrogusto persistente.

The Arabica variety grows in the shade of tall trees and is harvested by hand only with a careful selection of ripe coffee cherries. Coffee from Papua New Guinea is characterised by an intense aroma of dark chocolate, notes of ripe tropical fruit and citrus fruits, with a taste that enhances the pleasant acidity together with a moderate sweetness.This is a medium-body coffee marked by a persistent aftertaste.
